Here at Next Generation Marketing, Inc., we are inspired by top business leaders who strive to make the world a better place. Corporate giving has grown in importance thanks to the efforts of a few select people. We would like to profile them here.

Bill Gates is the ultimate philanthropist, and he has inspired a new breed of generous business moguls. The Microsoft founder has given away more money than any living person, with total donations passing the $30 billion mark. When he and his wife Melinda (also the namesakes of a world-changing foundation) pass away, the large majority of their wealth will be given to charity. The figure is likely to exceed $100 billion.

We at Next Generation Marketing, Inc. also respect the charitable efforts of Warren Buffett. He has made countless donations to worthy causes over the years. Now, he is encouraging other billionaires to do the same. Buffett created a giving pledge that asks the wealthiest people in the world to give away at least half of their fortunes either during their lives or after death.

Leonard Bosack and Sandy Lerner, co-founders of Cisco, have probably given away a larger share of their wealth than any other people on the planet. Formerly a married couple, they left Cisco and received about $170 million in compensation. Before long, they had given over 70 percent of that amount to charitable causes.

Our team at Next Generation Marketing, Inc. salutes these selfless tycoons.
